The main activity of Alandia Engineering Estonia OÜ is the conversion, repair and maintenance of ships, floating platforms and floating devices. The main activity in this field is ship electrical installation work and related consultations and servicing. The main focus is on international cruise shipping and the oil and gas industry. The company's motto is to provide the right service at the right time and wherever in the world.

The year 2022 went as expected and the end of the year was even surprisingly busy. No significant changes were made to the company's daily operations. The aftermath of the corona crisis and the ongoing situation in Ukraine currently do not have a significant impact on the company's operations. In general, all indicators are in a growing/stable trend and this seems to continue strongly in 2023.

As in previous years, in 2022 our cooperation with giant corporations ABB and Kongsberg

Maritime continued steadily. The main customers were ABB Finland, Kongsberg Norway, Wärtsilä

Finland and Viking Line. For example, we had a design solution for hydrogen-based energy production in shipping (client ABB). Most of our projects are related to increasing efficiency, reducing fuel costs, environmental friendliness, etc... So, “green” is a recurring theme. For the first time, we were also involved in the modernization of terrestrial (mostly our projects are only on ships) power plants by ABB's Swiss department. During the year, we did 3 such projects (in Saudi Arabia, Chile and Oman).

The group's certification process for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards underwent another re-certification in the fall, which was very successful and the entire group was rated by DNV-GL as compliant with the standards.

No major changes are planned for 2023. We continue to maintain and gradually increase existing relationships. The focus is still more on specialization than simple tasks.

Viking Line fleet - Extensive and varied electrical work on ships Gabriella, Grace, Cinderella,

Rosella, Mariella, XPRS, Viking Glory.

ABB Canada - Cyclo converter replacement done on behalf of ABB for Canadian Coast Guard icebreakers.

In general - Kongsberg Maritime orders grew significantly and according to them this trend will continue. We have taken certain steps to serve the increasing volume.
